Responding to the excellent feedback from the market to its release of the NDR-75/120, PEWATRON is launching the Mean Well NDR-240/480 series to meet the rising demand for higher output wattage in the industrial control field. Both series feature a slim design that is adapted to fit TS-35/7.5 or TS-35/15 mounting rails. Compared to the previous generation, they reduce volume by 43 % and 51.6 % respectively, offering a compact and economic power supply solution.

The NDR-240 and NDR-480 series boasts a superb operating efficiency of 88 % to 93 % respectively. The result? The impressive power supply can be cooled by free air convection, eliminating the need for unreliable and noisy cooling fans that require more space. It accepts 90 VAC to 264 VAC input and conforms to EN61000-3-2, the European standard that regulates harmonic currents. The units also feature short-circuit protection, overload protection with constant current limiting output, overvoltage protection and over-temperature protection.

The NDR-240 and NDR-480 series have the relevant certificates for industrial control equipment, including UL 508, TUV, CB and CE, making them competitive power supply solutions for industrial applications.
