ELTRA’s new ETMA magnetic tape encoder was developed for harsh industrial environments, and is resistive to dust or humidity.

Designed to be used with long cables, the outputs are either push-pull or line driver. 

The ETMA sensor is available with 0,025 or 0;01 mm resolution. An optional zero pulse every 2 or 5 mm facilitates measurement on long ranges.

For outdoor applications, a magnet scale can be provided with a cover. 

The sensors are resistant to temperature changes, dirt, dust and similar contaminants. Primary applications include motor feedback in heavy duty environment, handling machines and door positioning.
